ok im getting an E6600 but i know jack crap about ram times and all that noise i hear people talk about when i hear people talking about overclocking

so basically i wanna know what ram i will need to clock an E6600 to 3 Ghz

thanks in advance

I think it's more a case of motherboard and ram combo
and which works well together than purely down to the ram.
Been in the same situation of making the right choice myself.
I've personally decided on the GeIL
Everything else above this price range is all good but not worth the extra
hard earn't money in my opinion.

btw your bit of html aint working so i cant tell what ram your suggesting
thx

the ds3 is already in the post
did i do something dumb i read like 3 reviews before i ordered it

that ram seems good might order it week after next
unless anyone can recommend otherwise

Nope it's a solid choice just don't like the look of it myself
and always gone asus so will again. The ram depends on your budget
for me that's the best i can find around the £120 ish mark.

get the geil mate i paid £160 for 2 gig in november and its sat happily at 900+ mhz 5-5-5-15 ever since

stinka

so its settled one more thing in concrete..............*thinks about graphics card* DOES IT EVER END!?!??!!?

cheese and crackers you say........now i want cheese and crackers :o

There's really only one route on a budget in my opinion
and that's for the bfg geforce
8800 gts 320 mb i love the fact that it's lifetime warranty i'm sure bfg's retain
value quite a bit because of this.By the time i can afford to get my 6600
etc this will hopefully be a bit cheaper can't see that happening any time soon though.Stuck on a 2800 barton @ 2.25 ghz 7600 gs agp 1 gig at 180 fsb
supreme commander is a big wakeup call.

lol im running on

AMD Semperon 1.67Ghz
DDR Pc3200 512MB
ATI Radeon 7000 64MB
