How would you spend £900-£1100 on a gaming rig?

I am looking to spend up £900-£1100 on a new build for gaming primarily (COD5, Wolfentstein, GTAIV), recommended specs?
My current rig to show you where I am coming from is:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz(Kentsfield)
Abit IP35 Pro
4GB Kingston PC2-6400 (400Mhz)
8800GT (1024MB)
Creative Sound Blaster Fatality XFi (first gen)
17" LCD
Some considerations:
LCD not to be larger than 22" widescreen
single graphics card
How would you spend it?
