I have been slowly waiting for the may 14th release of the R600, and im currently in need of a system to put together.
I have a new case already, dont need a moniter or speakers etc, just the stuff to put in the case.
Im thinking C2D with a new cooler, 2gb geil ddr2 6400, not sure on the best mobo, psu and hdd though.
Im fine for a graphics card as i am going to be either buying an 8800GTS or 2900XT depending on price/performance
Im looking to spend a total of around the 500-600 mark, but take into consideration i need to purchase a graphics card im guessing ~ 200. so give that 300-400 for the rest
