Spec some good two player games for older pcs

Me and a flatmate wish to play a few games either coop or against each other.

His laptop isn't the best so that's the lowest common denominator. (C2D, 4gb ram, Intel integrated graphics).

Thus far we've played

NFS most wanted
Stronghold
Rome total war.


Any good fun suggestions? Thanks
 
Low powered steam games, i've got a similar specced laptop and you can play a lot of indie games, getting 2 player is more of an issue.

Just generally try old games i guess.



Of the top of my head try the free trackmania (nations forever i think), worms, terraria, mods with warcraft 3 can be a lot of fun....

Issue is the 2 player coop or versus, counts out things like original Call of duty, quake 1 / 2, half life, nightsky, braid, etc (at work and cant remember the steam games on my lappy XD)

OHH and its single player but no one knows about it, try desktop dungeons (google it), free game is a lot of fun to waste 15 minutes on, will run on a toaster... from 1990...
