I'm looking for some good wiper blades front & back for my VAUXHALL ASTRA 2000/2001 (X) HATCHBACK, i did see a five blade wiper but can't remember where QVC i think.

PIAA Silicone Wipers

Coat the window with a rain repellent coating every time they wipe. Expensive though.

You don't need to spend lots to get great performing wipers. Even expensive ones will last a few months with British weather.

Tenner, they're so good my old man got a pair too and I'll always use them from now on...

This. The cheaper alternatives just don't work as well or last as long IMHO. I've had mine on my car for two years and about 20k of all weather driving and they wipe pretty much as new

Maybe you're seeing things

I've had the Bosch and they lasted just as long as cheap ones, around about a year tops but the again my windscreen is quite a bit large so more area and more bugs to wipe over..

Thanks peps for all your replys, i was gong to get the Bosch Aerotwins but the shop never had any in stock so i got Bosch super plus.

Yep, standard Bosch wipers are about the best standard blades you can get. Not expensive either.
