Hi guys, I'm looking to get some new speakers, I've got a Technics SU-V3 A CLASS amplifier, quite an old thing but apparently quite good, I'm guessing my best bet would be to stick with this amp, it's 40W a channel I think.
I don't really know much about speakers, but I'm looking for the best fit for my system to the tune of about £100-£150. I listen to jazz, classical, trance etc and want a powerful sound. I was looking at Avant 902is earlier..
At the moment the connection is simply onboard connected to the amp, pretty new motherboard, is it worth getting a sound card?
I'm more inclined towards bookshelves, though if the sound quality difference is significant enough I could go for floor sounding. I'd appreciate any advice you guys have to offer, thanks for reading.
