I'm after the best bang per buck

Need case,PSU,mobo,CPU,cooler and memory

Got PCI-E GFX, 4x256 DDDR memory, harddrives and opticals.

AMD or Intel ?
 
That just happens to be what I have already, it dosen't have to be used, or it could be used initially then replaced.

I would go with something like this and sell your 4X256 modules. This is spec is very future proof and you will see a very noticable increase in performance.
