If you're buying new, get a P35 chipset.

Also get an aftermarket cooler for the quad core or overclocking will be difficult.

Should run most games at medium settings fairly well I guess.

Interestingly, most games will only utilise 1 of the 4 cores on the CPU, 2 of the 4GB of RAM, may not be SLi optimised (so only use one of the graphics cards) and may not even run in Windows Vista.

This is why you'd probably be better off with a more modest system, or at least waiting till after 22/7 when the price of quad cores is going to halve.

Well you did ask an incredibly stupid question.

You're not allowed to mention competitors on here, better remove that reference. Buy the parts and build your own and you'll have a better spec for the money.
