id like a pc which is good for games. would like a 8800gts and a c2d

but no optical drives, monitor speakers, keyboard/mouse
no o/s required

thanks

Highly overclockable system, kicks ass at stock too.

Talking CPU > 3GHz, RAM > 950MHz with ease, they go much higher.

You can drop one of the hard drives to get nearer your budget :-) I just like RAID soo much

thanks, i might base my pc arround ** specs. :)

That spec is currently the best you can get for an overclockable gaming system for the price, which im sure everyone will back me up on.. right?? :D

That spec is the basis of the best system you'll get for the money. To save some cash to fit in a PSU, drop one of the hard disks, and the processor to a 4300, and get the Corsair 520W PSU. Maybe keep the processor the same and get a cheaper case instead (Akasa Zen is a good bet, that'll save you £20).

I must disagree with that, The 4300 has a 2mb cache, half of the E6420, if you want to drop the CPU get a E6320, save the cache size.
