Hi all.
At the moment im running; 3.7 san D, lanparty ultra D, 2gb mem, 7800GT gfx.
This runs what games(BF2,Grid,rFactor,tmuf) i chuck at it on 1440x900 in a fashion.

So the times come for an upgrade, Im after a mobo, cpu(intel quad core), memory and gfx.
I have around the £500 mark for the above.

So can you guys & gals spec me up please.

Thanks

Just over the £500 marker with free delivery ;)

cheers ro55o..
that looks very tempting.
a noob question here for ya, at the moment im running XP Pro, i take it with the above setup ill need Vista as i'll be using 4gb of memory ??

thanks.

Idealy you would need to use Vista 64bit to make full use of 4gb.

If your gaming it might be worth changing the CPU to one of the E8XXX series cpu's.

You need a 64-bit OS to take full advantage of 4GB & the Vista one (i.e. x64) seems to get better reviews.

ro55o's spec is good but, hope you have a beefy PSU? Anything (reputable brand) 500W & above should do.

Well i went up stoke and brought the above items(except i got the P5Q Pro mobo) plus a new sata hdd to the grand total of £581.56 and boy was it worth it.
This new rig seems that fast its unbelievable compared to my old rig.
Has anyone on here got any advice on bios settings for the P5Q Pro as at the moment the bios is all on default settings, i dont want to be oc'in just yet, i just want rock solid performance.

Thanks
