Spec upgrade

Didn't want to upgrade my rig til next year when AMD release there new CPU range but being forced to with the problems am having with the current configuration. This is my new upgrade any recommends before placing my order?

Already have graphics card, hdd, optical drives and psu

change the cpu to the 955 and motherboard to cheaper one unless your gonna run crossfire

I will be running crossfire in the near future also be adding a ssd to the rig aswell

I can overclock 955 to what speed can manage, now question is will the memory downclock to 1333? cannot see it running at 1600

would have being an ssd added if it wasn't for the car, grr. I will post pics of the final build

you ordered? only ask because the 955be has disappeared from sight, its now the 970be cpu that is the same price as a 965be at £149!!!

You could save some money by looking at the Samsung 1TB hard drive or the Seagate below:

I did get the 955be and Mainboard together before it went out of stock, ordered memory and hard drive seperately.

would have got seagate drive but it was out of stock so chose the WD black 1tb instead. Those samsungs f1 has issues with sb850 chipset.

Update...

Completed the build today, did have issues with the ram though pc wouldn't boot with the sticks being in blue sockets so changed them to black sockets it booted up fine. Installed windows 7, other applications and so far no issues.

Playing WoW as I'm typing this
