Spec us a multiplayer game...

A group of us typically play once a week (About 4-5 of us).

We've played Left 4 Dead to death... and it's starting to get that way with Killing Floor now...

Any suggestions for a multiplayer game for a group of us?

Battlefield 2 would be good because you can all join up and play in one squad.

CSS / CoD4 can be great to play in some friendly PCW's, @ lan i always enjoy this.

To get games you can jump on #css5v5 or #css.pickup / #copd4.pickup on quakenet (think i've got those eright!)

Rainbow Six Vegas has a great co-op mode....well, it's more that the levels are great in the first place and the co-op mode the icing on the cake.

Sup Comm... 2vs2 is fun... 1v1v1v1 is more fun

You could also try out Savage 2

Arma 2 is out soon.

Yeh, we've got out eyes on that... Only problem with that though is it's aimed at more than 4-5 people...

And you can play it with 4-5 people?

So you all need Unreal 2004? And then you just all download the mod and off you go? I assume one of you hosts the game and the others all connect to their machine/game?

Correct on both counts.

I think by default it may only support 4 people but a quick play with the settings allows you to enable up to 8 player (iirc).

It's an amazing mod, especially if you're an Aliens fan

While google'ing I spotted this,. It is the same game? - http://www.blackcatgames.com/swarm/info_asi (No updates for a while so may be dead?)

Demigod would be win but do you ever fill the last slot with people from the tinterwebs? as 3v2 might not be so great.

That's the new source-engine version that is being "worked on". I agree with you, it's quite likely dead...but..we can only hope
