Budget is £500. but that's changed to £600 now.

All that's left is GFX. ideally wanting 2 for SLI it is possible. as budget could extend a bit! only a bit! like £40. but atm i have know clue to which is best etc.

any advice on a good sli gfx for 140 or two for 150-170 would be great and much appreciated!

I doubt your gonna get decent SLI for £150 unkless you look out for soem cheap 6600GT cards. Youd be better off tho getting a single 7600GT and getting a second one later.

right after seeing that spec im gonna do one as an 'alternative' as some of the components there have been known to 'explode'.

slightly over... think you said about £640 but this is a bloody good all round spec with quality components.

would be better if you didnt want SLI as you could find a better single slot solution.... like...

you really rate AMD over intel atm? or is that just because there cheaper?

the second suggestion is by far the better one for games. but the first one is more overall system speed.

intel are no match for AMD still. maybe on the next round...
