Have around £400 to spend. I play games so in need of a decent GFX card. Do not require Monitor, mouse, OS etc.
Any help appreciated.

A bit more info would be helpful - what resol. does your monitor run at & what exactly do you need to be up and running ?

e.g. CPU,Motherboard,ram,case,psu,harddrive,dvd drive all required? or do you have some of them?

Are you into overclocking?

I'm in need of CPU, RAM, Mobo, Case, PSU, HD and DVD Drive. My monitor is set to 1024x768 but will go upto 1600x1200. No to overclocking.
Im totally out of the loop technology wise. Switched off after the last build tbh. Any help is greatly appreciated.

e2180, OCZ 2GB 6400 RAM, Asus P5K, Akasa Zen, Corsair 520W PSU, WD or Samsung SATA HD, Pioneer SATA DVD Writer and an 8800 GT should do the trick.

/agree with Melbourne on this. Don't be tempted by cheap power supplies that come free with cases. They are a false economy.

Change the GT for an ati 3850 or 3870.
