Hi guys, im upgrading my PC which i got a year ago (it was aimed at social stuff, not gaming)

So the things I want to buy to be able to play games on Mid/high

ATI HD4890
CM 550 GX PSU
Athlon II x2 3ghz

I got a AM2+ Mobo but it doesnt support the CPU I want to buy, I made a thread a couple of days ago and im still choosing which one to buy.

I think If I bought a new mobo I would need a new OS aswell..

Would those 3 primary hardware choices be pretty good ?

Hi guys, Ive bought a Case already, and PSU aswell.
I havent quite decided on a mobo but I know i want to keep a ddr2 ram

Edit: Also now its just an ordinary comp

budget 220 GT, 3gb RAM, and Sempron dual core 2.3ghz.

Not sure now... My budget is pretty low because Im only 18 for the moment, and I want to refrain from buying an xbox, so im looking at different options..

Was just screwing around and took some parts and added them to the basket, thoughts ?

Asus M4A78LT-M 760G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard (If I was to buy DDR3 ram)

Corsair XMS3 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Single-Channel Module

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit - OEM (GFC-00564)

AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 250 3.00GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail

XFX ATI Radeon HD 4890 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Or instead of the 4890, 460 gtx
