Speccing at the low end - console matching?

I was thinking about low-end gaming and wondered how cheap you can get, and I specced a full system for £550. I went elsewhere than OCUK so no links, but I specced a Ryzen 3600, 16 GB RAM, and decentish B450 mATX motherboard in a bundle of £200 for the three; a RX 6600; a reputable 550W Bronze PSU; a 1 TB reputable NVME drive; and a Kolink Citadel Mesh case for a total of £550. Not the latest and not the greatest but to me that looks like a perfectly serviceable gaming PC.

Can you do better? And how would this fare against consoles? The XBox is cheaper at £450 and the PS5 is cheaper still at £379.

My understanding is that the Xbox X has a 3700X with the turbo off and the GPU performs between a 6700 non-XT and 6700 XT.

Getting better, yeah, maybe before the PS6 it'll be possible to build a much better spec.
