Looking at the simliar results in this comparison here: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/300?vs=301

Should be no more than 2 x 5870's @£150 each so £300?

Even less if you can get 2 x 5870's second hand for £200 ish

Because two 6870's in crossfire destroy a 6970?
What was confusing was the dual 5770 card that got announced, as the 5870 was that in one GPU.

but seriously this is looking to be a very nice product, price wise going by AMD's currant launch pricing structure it will probably be just over the price of the two donner cards 6870 @ £174 each making £350+......oh look what a surprise right on the money to go up against the NV 580.

I'm not particularly fond of Nvidia, but I'd still opt for the 580 in the above scenario, as by the time you have taken micro-stutter into account 6870 XFire isn't really any faster.

its hard to see what sort of price point it will come in at, £300 ish and it makes a 6970 a bad buy, £400 ish and it will be pointless as you can get a pair of 6950's
