Hi,
I'm putting together my first system for a long time and planning on pumping all the cash i can into a single GPU then getting a second for SLI X-Fire if i need it down the road.

Does it matter if the cards are the same edition and from the same minor manufacturer or is it a case of any 560ti with any 560ti will run fine.

not sure what card yet, think i will have to wait for pay day, might run on HD4000 for a couple of weeks and see what the IGPU's have to offer, that or pull a card out of the image server at work for a couple of weeks.

Yes and no. You mention a 560ti and this is fine so long as you stick with 560ti 1GB and 560ti 1GB or 560ti 448 edition with 560ti 448 edition.

I hope that makes sense?

I think i get it, the 448 having less bits turned on is considered a different card but any standard 560ti or 7850 or whatever should run with each other. i take it you have to match memory size too

Your a star mate thanks, one last thing, you have £200 in your back pocket and a 3770k enroute going into a lan gear da box 100 (SFF gaming case), which GPU would you get?
