Special Offer what to do ?

Hi there , Just seen the Special Offer on here this week for the CPU AMD x2 64 5000+ ,not sure if to go for it or go with my first thoughts of Core 2 Duo E6600 any ideas ? its about an extra £20+ quid ?

Wait for 6400 conroe has same catch as 6600 i believe and is a lot cheaper and clocks well im assuming. Least thats what my mate said as he is thinking of getting the 6400.

Its cache,

The 6400 has 2mb just like the 6300

The 6600 has 4mb

Well i was thinking its 6400 that has same cache as the 6600 but it maybe a different model. Mate said it was coming out soon i think. And it looks like 6400 is out already so erm im probably on about some other version like a possible 6450 or somit.

Regardless it was supose to be 4mb cache like 6600 but clocked a lot lower and hence cheaper.

The E6600 is a decent buy anyway tho tbh, especially if your not overclocking and compared to the X2 5000+.
