First episode was great, good to see Taylor Sheridan doing some acting again. Gotta love the one liners "beware the old soldier, he's old for a reason"

I would disagree...

The woke diversity politics bs is a bit much at this point... Why did they stood up and moved away from their cover few mins before the backups ETA? When for good few minutes they maintained perfect defence positions? Why did the helicopter get so close, the range of missiles and the minigun doesn't require them to get that close. The whole episode felt really sloppy...

Yes, it's probably not the most accurate, but I don't watch it for that sort of stuff, I just like explosions and shoot outs.

Now s2 finished airing, started it last night and enjoyed ep1 apart from Taylor creating a character for himself, felt jarring at times listening to him trying to act across from Zoe, hopefully as ep1 was something different and the lioness starts again in ep2 that's the last of him.

He does appear a few times, but is definitely a side character, those horse riding skills though... Pretty impressive, in one of the previous seasons when he first made his appearance I was just as impressed.

4 episodes into s2 and I'm glad they haven't copy pasted the episode structure from the s1 but it does feel like with the slow build up for the actual Lioness storyline that it's going to be rushed to wrap it up before s2 ends.

I will say it'd probably have benefitted being a 10 episode season.
