Special Ops : Lioness

Finished s2 and that last episode, apart from Taylor shoehorning himself in it was edge of seat tension especially the last 20 min, can see why now the lioness subplot wasn't as big a part as it was in s1.

Looking forward to s3, hopefully Taylor's character doesn't become a part of the strike team. Wonder if they'll keep the lioness from this season in the story too like they did the s1 one.
 
Finished S2 last night, did the last episode feel rushed to anyone else? Bad guys with stormtrooper accuracy for 95% of fights etc. Enjoyed the series as a whole but S1 was better.
 
Despite my earlier comments, I want to watch some actioney TV series, so might actually try S2 out over xmas :D . Mixture of comments here, but seem mainly positive.

If it turns out crap or there's too much family melodrama, I'll try a rewatch of Reacher or Jack Ryan to scrath my itch.

Binged it over the last few days.

If S1 was a 6-6.5/10 for me , S2 was a 7.5/10

-Much better than Season 1, maybe as there was less introducing characters, apart from the new Lioness
-Main plot goes off on a bit of a tangent, but it stays action packed
-You have to ignore logic a lot more this season than the 1st
-There were multiple episodes where there was a potential to go off on some Jo's family melodrama, but they resisted.
-The chances of melodrama next seasons are high, from a story point of view
-Jo was much meaner and less likeable this season, I was kinda hoping her injury would be fatal or force her to a permanent desk/support role.
-Nicole Kidman has the power suit and power walk thing down to a tee

In a few scenes her face genuinely looked frozen and I thought the streaming was playing up,, but like you say it fits the character and is from the obvious cosmetic procedure overload!
