Since you have only one PC speaker system, you don’t want to make sacrifices. That’s why Corsair has created the SP2500.

At its heart are six Class D amplifiers driven by an ultra-efficient power supply. The 8” subwoofer driver is housed in a fourth order bypass enclosure for clean, tight bass response that can seriously shake the room. The bi-amplified satellites use specially developed 3” drivers and custom-designed, ferrofluid-cooled 1” silk dome tweeters for detailed audio reproduction across the entire spectrum with great stereo imaging and a generous sweet spot. A programmable digital signal processor lets you craft the audio to your liking. It’s all under your command with the 1.8” (4.6cm) color display desktop controller.

The price of them has been between £189-£199 for a little while now and most of the time they will drop to the around £160 but trust me that is the bottom line for anyone and is usually for a small amount of time.

I agree if they did those they would be amazing not sure what pricing they would do that on though. I have not been made aware of any plans for this so I do not think it will happen.

Edifier do a very good set of 5.1 speakers in the 760D and I think this is what corsair would have to compete with.
 
I seem to remember reading that these speakers were "end of life" when they were previously on offer at £125.

The speakers are being made end of life too so it was a good send off for one of the best 2.1 speakers in the market

Yeah there was a change of plan and again corsair have said these will be end of life again now hence the reduction. To be honest I hope it's another lie as it would be a shame for these to be gone.

The 760D's look amazing if not a bit pricy but I am a great believer in you get what you pay for.
