Similar thing recently on Merida forks too! Wonder if it was the same fork manufacturer?

With Leuscher carbonguy cutting stuff up people seem able to defend themselves against 'you crashed that m8 yo' warranty refusals.

Merida is a major shareholder of Specialized and manufacture a lot of their carbon frame and forks if Im not mistaken

Yeah they are which is why I was wondering.

The Merida one was the company making the forks not making the steerer to the proper specifications leading to cracking rather than the crown area.
