Ok, I'm not going into this cold, I reckon I know which 2 choices are going to get recommended again and again, Sugo S1 and Lian Li v351.

My aim is to shift my large ATX build in a Chieftec BX02 case into something a bit more compact, to reduce power, size, and get it off the floor.

Essential Requirements
- Quiet! Silence is king!!
- 2 card slots ( I need 3x DVI outputs to be available)
- Take full size optical drives
- Accept a new S775 build with my existing 8800GT

Nice to haves...
- Space for 2x 3.5" HDDs
- The more USB ports the better (although I imagine this is less of an issue when your case isn't buried under the desk)

This will not be overclocked at all, although with the new Aliens/Predator game appearing next year, a new graphics card will no doubt occur in the next 6 months.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Why ask when you know the answer? Though I'd suggest the V350 instead of the v351 as is cheaper and doesn't have holes cut in the front :D

Whats your budget and how do you feel about desktop/htpc cases?

Because I know I'm out of touch with what's around, and often good suggestions appear at the last moment! I've had a couple of conversations away from the board in the last 24hours and I think I'm going to go with the SG01. In fact, I'm trying to bring myself to click "Checkout" in my other browser...

Yeh they will, though neither take a full ATX board... matx yes. Dual slot graphics fit in both, on the Silverstone you'll need to check on the length. I think its the SG01-E which supports longer cards, but don't quote me on that.

I am guessing non off the smaller cases take a full ATX board because that's how they make them smaller :P?

So I will need to purchase a new MicroATX board?
