Hi ive got a task to do which is i need to spec a Computer System for a Photographer that runs hes business from home.

He requires a system that can handle image manipulation and storage.
Thats more CPU intensive right more than graphic power?

He also does hes business correspondence and accounts and customer databases on this System.

He needs the full wack, Tower, screen, keyboard, mouse, input devises and storage and an operating system.

He wont be overcloking, its not that type of pc.

And hes budget is 1000 pounds tight i know, but CANNOT go over it.

a lot to ask but ill be very great full.

get a 7600gt, not a 7300, also dont get vista 64bit, get xp pro sp2 as a lot of his programs prob wont work with vista.

get him a case thats £20 cheaper to make up for the gpu costing more.

it would be better for app compat for the first few months, but we dont know what programs he uses, xp pro sp2 would guarantee his programs still work, vista (any version) will likely need patches for programs etc. u need to know how IT literate he is, if he can download patches himself etc.

find out his programs and if they work in vista.

image editing uses hardly any gpu, mainly cpu. video uses quite a bit of gpu. with the specs i gave it will be nice.
