Strange question really, someone at my work has asked how they can find out how much time their son is spending viewing Facebook, specifically.
Now, my initial thoughts if it were me, would be why specifically facebook or does he want all social networking/personal/fun/frivalous websites on this monitor. He just said Facebook though, bit wierd...
Anyway, my second thought turned me something like NetNanny but I don't know of a program like this that monitors individual time logged in on a particular site. It just blocks good and bad and lets you customise slightly. This is the same with DNS options and other software that I am familiar with.
If it were me I'd just limit them to "personal" computer time (not work/study) where they can do what they want for an hour. I would have filters on DNS or locally to stop things like pr0n and of course if they by passed them I'd expect to be included in fruits of their labour
Any ideas?
