Specing My new Machine!!!!

okay, here are the specs i have found for my new machine i have a budget of £1000 or less (preferably less) :)

Processor

Intel Core 2 Quad-Core Q6600 G0 SLACR, 95W, S775, 2.40 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, 8MB Cache, Retail

motherboard

ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe NF4 SLI, S775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 533/667/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX

RAM

OCZ 2GB DDR2 PC2-6400 Reaper Enhanced Bandwidth Edition

PSU

Total price for this lot is £725.32

So what do you guys think C+C welcome and is there anything that you would change??

I probably wouldn't choose that motherboard, it has quite an old chipset, something based on the Intel P35 chipset would probably be better unless you really need SLi. Most people don't need SLi anyway, what size is your monitor?

Are those the only parts you need? The PSU is slightly overkill at present as a good 500w would easily cope. The graphics card choice will partly depend on your monitor, if 20" or over then you might be better with the 640mb 8800GTS or the 8800GTX. :)
 
Cheers for your input...... it is a 20" monitor that i have! they are all of the bits that i need as i have already got the other parts for the machine such as lighscribe drives and things from my old pc. :) i do thank you guys for your help i will soon be parting with some cash!!! when i have made my final choice i will let you guys know! cheers one again for the input. :)
