So far I'm thinking of using this lot. What do you think ?

XP pro 32

Asus P5NT-Deluxe.

Three 8800GT's or 8800GS's

2gig Crucial PC6400

Seasonic S12 500

80gig seagate

Celey E1400

That all looks fine, although not sure how well a E1400 could drive three cards at stock. With a bit of an overclock it be fine though. Other than that you will need two PCIe to molex adaptors, which should come with the card. Make sure your case will have ample cooling also :)

Have you considered going the AMD route with a MSI K9A2 Platinum board - I don't think its available through overclockers but it does have 4 PCIe slots

AFAIK the 9XXX cards run cooler/use less juice than 8xxx series If you can get hold of 4 9600GSO cards and go with the board mentioned by MikeTimbers. One of the "e" series Phenoms would be a wise choice power wise, X4 9450e for example.

Leccy/heat is a major concern with folding. My old 8800GTS went poof and took my motherboard with it as well as fire damage (!!!) to my Wavemaster case so there could be a case for doing it as cheaply as possible too!
