How does this spec look? It's for gaming and multimedia rendering.......

Are there any ways to make it cheaper but keep up performance, i plan on having both raptors in Raid 0 and using the baracuda as a storage device.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

This system is a 100 pound cheaper, i only went for one raptor as you can install the OS, games and other apps on this and use the 250gb harddrive as storage. Also went for an X1900XT which is much faster than the 7900GT, you will get better performance plus its at a great price to. Also didnt include a sound card as the onboard sound is pretty good i would get yourself a good set of speakers instead. Choose the Lian Li case as it is miles better than the thermaltake case in terms of cooling and build quality. PSU wise you have choice between seasonic, FSP, Enermax or tagan any one of these makes will be good for your system, i put the enermax 500w liberty in as i have one and know how it runs, its a very good PSU, other people will recommend the other makes i mentioned, they all have their plus points.

An antec case with its own psu would be cheaper but maybe you don't like the style.

An 1800 graphics card would also be cheaper and perform better

I've heard that ATI's are rubbish these days, there first spec i ever made i was told by more than one person that ATI's are dreadful to work with, especially with games like WoW and DAoC.

Whats all the fuss about?

Only reason i am going with Thermaltake is because of the looks (i like the look) and i was going to only get 1gb of ram but i don't know if its enough, should i get 1 or 2?

And.. there is no need for a Hard drive because i have one already ;)

Or maybe does this look better?

Whatever you buy, don't get an X1800 GTO, at that price if you like the HIS ICEQ 3 version get the X1900 GT, or if your not bothered there is also the X1800 XT (few threads about that cover which to choose). X1800 GTO at stock is quite a bit slower than both of those.
