Hi, please check this spec. everything compatible? Anything missing? Can I get a cheaper motherboard? Purpose: home pc, no gaming. No OS, Peripherals required.

Tnat ASUS board will be ok, but you can get DVI-HDMI cables, unless you need sound from it also?
 
No difference at all, the Gigabyte would have been better as it has the extra connectivity for storage and a UK based repair center.

MSI is next as I believe they have an understanding with retailers to handle the full 3 year warranty.
