Hi,

This is my first time building or indeed owning a p.c and wanted a quick spec check and suggestions on a suitable screen
Corsair HX 620W
Seagate Barracuda 320gb
Samsung SH-S182D
E 6600
Asus p5b deluxe
2gb Geil PC6400C4 800mhz ultra low latency DDR2
BFG 8800GTX
Arctic silver 5 thermal compound
arctic cooling freezer 7 pro
creative x-fi Xtreme gamer fatal1ty

already have an antec 900 ready and waiting so no changing that

wasnt sure whether to get the 700w game Xstream instead of the corsair but looking at other threads looks like the corsair's a better choice.

for the screen was gunna get the belinea 22" but since it has no DVI its not an option anymore due to the GTX having no VGA outputs, then saw the dell E207 WFP looked sexy but searching on the web the awful reviews put me off, now looking at the V7L22WD but not sure... Monitor has to be around the £220 and mainly used for gaming.

£1700 being the limit on the pc itself as i'm getting a habu a saitek eclipse and speedlink gamer edition medusa and 32bit Vista ultimate OEM on top of the above.

Thanks.

get the ocz 700w i rate it for the money ive got one;), also the 8800 gtx comes with a digital to anologue converter as do most gpus, so get the belinia 22w as i can reccomend it i have one and it is absolutly awsome:cool:

also i would concider the gigabyte ds4 as i belive it clocks better than that asus model

stinka

edit: also if your into fps games i can seriously recomend a zboard with matcching key set, i use one for BF2142 and it is the dogs

The Dell screens are on offer for good prices at the minute. Considering picking up a 20" Widescreen myself for about £200 including VAT (the screen has both DVI and VGA)

The 20 inch dell for around £200 has got some really awful reviews on the internet since i was checking out cos i thought it was too good to be true and theres all sorts of problems with colour bands and such, along witch crap customer support from dell when they sent it back for these faults and getting ones back with exactly the same problem. I would have ignored it and gone for the screen mostly cos of it's looks but there are loads of reports of this.
