Hey just checking a spec for a mate building a new PC, just making sure everything works and fits.

Code:
Gigabyte GA 965P-DS3 iP965, S775, PCI-E (x16), DDR2 533/667/800, SATA II, SATA RAID, ATX

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300, Socket 775, 1.86 GHz, 1066MHz FSB, Allendale Core, 2MB Cache

1GB (2x512MB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-15

256MB XFX 7900GS PCI-E (x16), Mem 1320 MHz, GPU 450 MHz, 20 Pipes, Dual DVI/HDTV

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775)

Antec NSK6500 Super Midi Tower Case - 430W PSU (CA

Cheers in advance. :)

Swap the 7900gs for a HIS 1950 pro! Flaws the 7900gs by about 10-15fps in games!

Looks good apart from that. Pity you cant get 2gb of ram, if it was me i would drop the corsair and buy a OcUK 2gb kit.

I know there not branded but there just as good!! Heard nothing but good reviews about them! ;)

He only has a budget of £530 and nothing higher at all. If you can spec anything better that would be cool.

Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)
(£126.89)

Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
(£124.54)

Gigabyte GA_965P_S3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
(£88.11)

OcUK 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2 Dual Channel Kit
(£146.86)

Antec NSK6500 Super Midi Tower Case - 430W PSU (CA
(£69.31)

Sub Total :£472.95
Total :£567.41

I know it's £35 over, but the difference the 2gb of memory will make is very significant for gaming that he cant really say no!
