Hi. I am considering upgrading my system to this:

How is the spec? It would be an upgrade from a Q8200, 4GB DDR2, and Asus PK5PL-AM. Would it be worth it?

its not worth it, and that ram is not compatible with the motherboard, its a dual channel kit needed.

AMD is more future proof, Intel are changing their sockets next year.
