***Speck me an upgrade***

So basically I am fed up with my computer at the moment. I have had problems the last few months and have had enough! Its a 3 year old rig so about time I upgrade.

So i am looking for a Motherboard, CPU, RAM and SSD hard drive. I already have a descent enough PSU (although 3 years old) GPU (4870 1gb),case, sound card and 2 other hard drives for storage.

Looking for an I7 pref 9 series, 6gb of ram , a descent motherboard for over clocking and a budget SSD for operating system and essential programs...going to use my 250gb hard drive for installing games and my 1tb hard drive for storage

Actually after looking at dave_beasts build I would go with that. Its a better mobo than the bundle I suggested and you get the SSD for the same price!

I wouldn't think so. I read that Intel did not intend Sandy Bridge to replace the 1366 socket range of i7 CPU's.
