Hi,
I'm looking for a computer on around a £800 budget.
I will use the computer for 3D graphics and video rendering (+gaming).
I know that for a computer for video rendering/editing people normally look at above the £1000 mark but I cannot afford that.
i7 is obviously desirable but in some benchmarks the i5 keeps up with it, and sometimes even beats it, so I'm at a loss.
I am also confused on the graphics card. Lots of benchmarks seem to conflict. I was looking at the 6950 or a 560 Ti but I honestly have no idea.
And I would love a case that has the space behind the motherboard for cables, as it makes them tidy which I like (doesn't everyone?).
Monitor is not needed.
Window 7 is needed.
Thanks for reading, I know I am being quite demanding for my budget and I understand that compromises may have to be made. I have tried to provide as much information on what I want as possible, because I hate vague posts so I try not to inflict them on other people. So any advice?
EDIT: I'll build it myself, it will be my first time, but I have spoken to people and they say that it isn't hard.
Thanks,
Smithy
