Spectaculate me a browser

Well, after 2 years of firefox I think it's finally come to an end. I'm getting constant crashes and errors when browsing with several (well ok a lot of

) tabs. Essentially I want tabbed browsing, stability, safety. Something reasonably safe from hijacking and other pop uppy badness. Something with the ability to play typical web media. Not worried about email as most of my email is web based. And really, just something generally quick and functional. Please help a lost soldier

Operas feels better to me when opening a lot of tabs, more responsive. If I have loads of tabs open in firefox it can take an age for the thing to response. Haven't tested IE7 fully yet. Personally I have all 3 installed.

Tried the latest Firefox, 2.0 (here)? If so/not happy with it, give IE7 (here) a 'twirl'

Well im a 100% FireFox user but to be honest if that ever went out of date or not available which is very unlikely to happen

I would use Opera as to me it is the second best browser out there.
