Sped me an ad game to tide me through the weekend

The title probably says it all to be honest. I am staying round the inlaws place this weekend and am suffering from gaming withdrawal. For the most part I have completely ignored the tablet gaming scene as most games I have seen other people try look terrible.

That said, I have one of the many many angry birds games it's ok but nothing amazing. Any suggestions?

Simple: FTL

Not got an iPad, so can't vouch for the interface adjustments they made, but it's a superb game which should convert to tablet really well

FTL is awesome on iPad. The UI works brilliantly.

I'd also recommend XCOM if you haven't played it on PC.
