It appears that BT Broadband are getting some good comments any thoughts? ADSL24 were great (I moved after years with Pipex) But in the last 2 months connections dropped. They blamed the router. I replaced router no change. I got interleaving turned off. No change. This weekend my 6000 speed has on BTspeedtest and others dropped to 300-500. My router stats states 6040?? Ping normally around 25-40 now in CSS 50-60 and on speedtest 115!

So I have my mac code and Im ready to leave.

I presume BT are ok based on the comments on here.

What does the BT Speedtest say your IP profile is set to?

BT Retail are a rubbish ISP, you'd have to be mad to move to them.

Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Your DSL connection rate: 6912 kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP profile for your line is - 5500 kbps
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 3723 kbps

Speeds better but ping is over 100. They are not responding to my calls for help (ADSL24) Hence looking to move.

I'm on O2 at the Prudhoe (northumberland exchange) my attenuation for my line is 30 & I nicely get 15mb :D what exchange are you at? I would never go back to BT as I left them to go to ADSL24 & then onto O2. I found that despite ADSL24 being a good company it was Enta slowly changing into BT when sending tickets & them not replying :( o2 is uk support like adsl24 & if you check the o2 opinions thread there are 2 blokes willing to get you a mass discount.
