Speed camera detectors

Hi All,

I have changed jobs which means driving in northamptonshire and cambridgeshire which apart from the very main roads I do not know the area.

touching wood i have been driving for 10 years with no points, and while i generally do not speed I dont want to get caught now.

So im looking at buying a camera detector or warning thingy such as a road angel?

only thing is im woefully out of date with such things, can anybody recomend anything at all? even if its somthing i would need to buy used (cheaper is nicer for me lol )

Dont speed, it's cheaper.

yep, and your spot on I agree. however with the most daft placement of cameras trying to catch you out, taking your eye of the ball for a split second could cause you 3 points and a fine.

I would rather be warned I am infact speeding more than anything as we are not perfect and often can make a small mistake

I got the v4 here, though the k1 is nice too, comes with life time subscription, just stick it on the car and forget about it.

Gives fixed points, average zones, black spots, traffic lights and more, customisable too.

Easily worth the one off £15-£20 payment, no silly subscriptions

can you turn them down sound wise so it just becomes visual?
