Speed Camera Question!

Hey, Was going past a speed camera and i was at 33mph i thought i was doing 30, But i think 1 flash went off, Does it mean a fine and warning but no points right?

Kinda at unease at the moment so, Would like an answer to this, Thank you. Damn vauxhall astras.

I'm sure I heard / read somewhere though that you have an allowance when being tagged with a gun rather than the cameras etc

I think the allowance is mainly becuase of how inaccurate they can be, It was argued that a gun has to be pointed at the same position on the car neither can be moving, That is impossible when the car is moving but the gun isn't so therefore a flaw.

I surely hope i just don't get those points, Insurance god damn it is gonna be cheap when i turn 21, Don't want that ruined.
