Speed Difference Between P35 Against G965 Express

I've got a broken Shuttle, it's the motherboard. I don't want to fork out £300 odd quid to get it repaired so I did some research trying to fing another mobo from an alternative retailer (found none) but did find a pico BTX board of the eqivalent spec apart from the chipset, G965. When my Shuttle was working it was quick can I expect the same speed from this or will it restrain me from doing other things?

Heres my spec:

-E7400
-4Gb SDRAM DDR2 Corsair
-ATi Radeon HD3650
-320Gb HDD

I use my comp mainly for gaming, games like CSS.

surely the newer board will be better than you shuttles?

P35 replaced the 965 chipset so will be a bit faster and have more features. You should be looking at G31/G33/G35 and the more up to date G4* series chipsets.

Are you sure it will fit in the shuttle case, thought only their boards worked.

Yes it fits, it's an inch shorter than the shuttle motherboard so you could proboly fit an actual decent cooler in there too. The fit that i'm worried about is the mounting holes.
