Speed estimate for ADSLMax?

One of our office lines is currently on a Eclipse Business 500, but flexing to 2Mbit works fine, I guess the router stats refer to being sync'd at 2Mbit?

DSL Flavour = ADSL over POTS
Reserved Bandwidth (kbit/s) up/down = 288 / 2272
Properties
Output Power (dBm) up/down = 11.5 / 18.0
Attenuation (dB) up/down = 18.5 / 43.5
Noise Margin (dB) up/down = 23.0 / 19.0

From a Speedtouch 536 if that helps, rough guess of how fast we could get?

The line length is a little strange, the office is 7.5km from the exchange and the line our backup connection is on can only support 512k but the Eclipse line is rather better.

you should see arround 4500k to 5500k with that line

so 4.5mb to [MAX 6mb]

7.5 km you say?, id say your line is arround 3 to 4km

Thanks, I just checked and actually the line length on our backup line is 7.5km, its just over 5km as the crow flies. There are 10 lines into the office, its pretty new and nearly in the middle of nowhere, so there might be some new/uprated lines, maybe?
