Speed fan temp 3

Temp3 is normally the PWMIC temp, these do get hot, but at the same time depending on your board could be totally wrong.

by the sounds of it, it's either not configured properly for your machine, or isn't in use.

125 degrees is a common (in my experience) error reading on things like speedfan, normally because either the wrong sensor type is set in the programme and thus it's not reading the output right, or because there isn't a sensor there at all and it's making a mistake because of it.

[edit]
If I enable sensor 3 on my current motherboard it gives me a reading of -48;)

temps in speed fan aren't in any particular order. anything that reports as 125c and doesnt change is one of two things - 1) a fault sensor or 2) no sensor at all.

i have a Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi, its at 108 degrees now, i hope it is a fault, thanks for the replies
