Hi guys,
Im having some speed issues with my virgin broadband, the 20Meg one. Basically I connected my desktop to the modem/router by an ethernet cable and I get really rubbish speeds when loading web pages. Other computers in the house connect wirelessly and they get fine speeds. When I connected my laptop to the router by ethernet cable i got really good speeds, leading me to think it must be something wrong with my desktop?
I rang virgin up and he asked me to change some settings on the router but have not really helped at all.
The desktop is running windows 7
The motherboard is Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
