Seems like a lot of sudden jumps between things in this video... I thought you could only teleport between temples and wizards' guilds, this guy seems to jump smack into the middle of cities!

The fact he uses console commands and cuts between bits (as in the film stops then it cuts to the next bit in game) in the games means its not a proper speed run

Fun to watch none the less

If you ask me, it's about completing the game as fast as possible.

However that's achieved doesn't matter.

It IS possible in 15 minutes, find the video somewhere. That's including character creation etc, and the video is flawless throughout - it happens.

Yeah its all about casting a spell on yourself and then casting another spell with the effect of the last spell increasing your chances of success.

I just watched most of the 16 min morrowind version now, don't think i would be up for a 2 hour RE1 video though! :eek:

Both the 7:30 run, and the 15 min single segment vids are on SDA, which makes them as true as true can be:

I imagine, having never played Morrowind, that the reason the 7:30 video has jumps is because the player will have been retrying when certain chance-based things happen, such as a spell failing, and restarting the video when he does.

He didn't, I think he simply filmed it in segments, which is why it looks broken.
