Hey,

Ive setup a VPN for the account lady at work using Real VNC and Port forwarding on a Speedtouch 510.

All works fine for a couple of days, until when, what looks like the hub resets it self, could well be down to power cut e.t.c. where it loses all of the port forwarding info, but keeps the login detials for the internet.

Any ideas? or is it just the hub.

I have the same hub at home and does exactly the same.

Cheers guys.

Silly question perhaps but are you certain you are saving the info onto the router properly? On some routers like mine, you can set up port forwarding, apply the new rules and it works... but unless you 'save' it, once you reset/power off the router, those rules are lost.

thanks for replying.

Yup, I add the port forwarding infomation, then click on 'Save all'

There is something about a configuration file but could be just for the firmware.

Edit, Just noticed your a fellow essex friend ;) :)
