TBH I rarely see them on Sundays either. Same with traffic wardens.

To be fair, at least he saw them. Sheffman woudnt have and then spend weeks complaining that there wasnt enough speed limit repeaters on the motorway

Had an interesting one just over a week ago where I'm like 99% sure an unmarked car was trying to goad me into speeding just before a speed trap :s at the least it was unprofessional driving given the circumstances if not intentional.

Forcing a situation where people are likely to react to that by speeding up isn't innocent in this kind of context.

They came out of a right hand junction on a dual-carriageway into lane 1, not a bad emerge but meant I either had to ease off quite a bit to accommodate them or as I did went into lane 2, as I was nearly alongside them they unnecessarily briskly accelerated to the speed limit effectively cutting me off from returning to lane 1. Fortunately my mentality was if they couldn't be bothered to wait for me to move over to go past me I'd ease them going past me on the left and backed off a bit (at which point when trying to figure out what they were doing I noticed the kit onboard) rather than give it a bit of boot to get in front as over the brow of the next hill was a marked vehicle doing speed checks. At the bottom of the hill the unmarked car turned around and went back the other way.

As I was driving my pickup I sometimes get police checking me out as their first instincts seem to be drug dealer/up to no good but still.
