Firstly i couldn't decide if this should be in this section or the server so if im in the wrong one, can a don move it for me please :D

So at work, i have a server which we have a southern office (about 3 people) i say this loosely 'try' to connect to via a VPN. The server is running WS2003 and its taking a lifetime to download/upload files. Small files aswell, maybe the biggest will be around 10mb at a push. This is because where we are located; we are on the top speed of broadband which is around 2.5 - 3mb.

We need a easier way of connecting them to our files. I was thinking of setting a cloud type of system up. I know this wont be quick, but surly there is a better solution, even to speed it up half a %.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

No option of configuring Terminal Services on the server? Let them work directly with the files instead of transferring them back and forth. VPNs are notoriously horrible for transferring files unless you have top notch connections.

Could use Dropbox, running over the internet will be better than a VPN connection.
