Speedball 2 Tournament Demo

I've been busting to have a try of this, but wasn't willing to part with any cash until I'd tried it
I'll download it when I'm on my main PC tomorrow... is it available on Steam as well?

It's seriously bad.
Sadly it's not great.
I've now got a gamepad so I'll try it again but with the mouse and keyboard combition it was rubbish.
I do think there's massive potential for it as well with the online leagues, etc. but it just isn't a good game at the moment.

Currently playing through the xbox 360 version on live now, thats great, downloading this now to see what I think..........

Is it bad because it is truly bad, or is it bad because it is not Speedball on the Amiga?
It's truly bad. Such a let down.
I know it's a demo, and my computer is an old bailer (XP2800, 2Gb, 7600GT). But I can play BF2 at 1280x1024, TF2 at the same res.
This is 800x600 or forget it on my machine.
If you want a fast paced game in a similar vein just go and buy one of the NHL series. You will have way more fun.
If you're and old school speedball player, as I was, I guess it's worth downloading the 400meg for curiosity sake. As for me all I got out of the download was an update to my Directx 9.0 library files.
Played one game then uninstalled.
