Anyone remember that game?

I'm looking to buy this for my PS3 - there's quite a few versions available at that auction site for the PS2 format and I'm wondering if it will play on my 80gb PS3?

It was one of the best two player games i've ever played and it's a great night in with a few beers and a couple of mates. I know there was talk of it being re released but I've not heard anything else about it.

Does anyone else know about this?

Speedball 2 was released on the 360 arcade with updated graphics. Are you thinking of this version?

The updated graphics were nothing special. In the end I just switched mine over to the original mode.
